There will be a Rosary prayed at St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish every night at 6pm starting on October 27, 2008 and ending on Tuesday November 4, 2008. On November 1, 2008 the Rosary will be prayed after the evening Vigil Mass at around 6:40 pm. This Novena is being done for the unborn and for the intentions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus: Here is the prayer that we will say everyday before we pray the Rosary...
Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Novena Prayer
Our Lady of Victory,
Behold me, thy child, in prayer at thy feet.
Accept this Holy Rosary,
which I offer thee in accordance with thy requests at Fatima,
as a proof of my tender love for thee,
for the intentions of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,
in atonement for the offenses
committed against thy Immaculate Heart,
and for this special favor
which I earnestly request in my Rosary Novena:
That God's will be done
and the most innocent and
utterly vulnerable of our brothers and sisters
will be protected
from this barbaric and grossly sinful blight on society
that is abortion.
I beg thee to present my petition to thy Divine Son.
If thy will pray for me, I cannot be refused.
I know, dearest Mother,
that thou wants me to seek God's holy Will
concerning my request.
If what I ask for should not be granted,
pray that I may receive
that which will be of greater benefit to my soul.
I offer thee this spiritual "Bouquet of Roses" because I love thee.
I put all my confidence in thee,
since thy prayers before God are most powerful,
For the greater glory of God and for the sake of Jesus,
thy loving Son, hear and grant my prayer.
Our Lady of Victory, be our salvation. Amen.
